Madison  County Associate Judge Clarence Harrison announced his bid for Circuit Judgeship at the election in November 2014.

Harrison seeks to fill the position vacated by Ann Callis, who resigned to run for election to Congress.

Judge Dave Hackett was appointed to fill Callis' position until December 1, 2014.

Candidates have until December 2, 2013, to file their nominating petitions for the 2014 election.

Harrison is from and resides in Collinsville and has been an associate judge since 1999.  He is also the son of former Supreme Court Judge Moses Harrison II, who died in April of 2013.
